Did Nana Addo lie to Ghanaians about free SHS? Kwesi Pratt Jnr thinks so

Managing editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr seems to be smelling something fishy about the free senior high school (SHS) as he makes the case that the policy is only meant for first year entrants.

“What the NPP promised was free education for all students of the senior high school not the 1st year and not the second years but all students of the senior high school.

It is possible that this is the beginning and that subsequently, second years and third years will be added on," Kwesi Pratt argued on Radio Gold's Alhaji and Alhaji program.

Meanwhile, government through the education ministry has extended the computer placement selection process in the wake of various challenges faced the software.

So far, all heads of SHS have been charged to open placement over the the weekend so as to make for the lost time.
