Social media users react to Shatta Wale's 'throwback' picture

“Taking Over” hit maker, Charles Nii Armah Mensah has warmed up his Facebook page with a ‘Throwback’ picture of himself and said a word of prayer for his loyal fans.

The self-acclaimed Dance Hall act posted a picture of himself; one form years ago and one other recent picture. The first picture was from the time the musician was known as Bandana and the second picture represented the Shatta Wale re-brand.

There have been many reactions to the post made by the musician and YEN.com.gh brings you some of these reactions from Facebook users who have sighted the picture.

An excerpt from the caption that came with the picture read, “The light of God will shine in your life and the blessing of God will pour on you, your household and in your work today and always in Jesus Mighty name. Amen. Good morning and have a blessed mid week”

The dance hall artiste came under a barrage of criticism recently for allegedly trying to hide something believed to be cocaine in a video.

The artiste however recorded a Facebook live video to explain to his fans what exactly it was that people thought he was hiding.

Speaking from the United States, the “Ayoo” hit maker indicated that he had visited a restaurant in the USA and they were given forks that were wrapped in white tissue. He added that what was shown in the video was nothing but the fork.
