Samira Bawumia appreciates the beauty of nature at the Ghana Garden and Flower Show

The event, which is an innovation of Stratcomm Africa, a communications management firm, seeks to inspire Ghanaians to be more appreciative of the Horticulture and Floriculture, and their benefits.

The launch of the event was graced by the First and Second ladies of the land, who showed their support for the initiative and the prospects it offers for job creation and environmental protection.

Samira Bawumia interacted with a number of florists and vendors at the event, as many came to showcase their creativity in nature inspired crafts.

The Second Lady was as usual a sight to behold in her stylish yellow outfit, adding her own bright light to the flower show.

The Second Lady stated she was inspired by the innovative idea, and noted there was potential in the industry that needed to be harnessed.

“I was truly inspired at the Ghana Garden and Flower show organised by Stratcomm Ghana Ltd and partnered by Lux. Where planting met fashion, creativity was at its peak. There is great potential in the industry that needs to be harnessed. Let's plant for food and jobs, let us make Ghana a beautiful destination,” she stated.

The Garden and Flower Show brings together people, vendors and designers all inspired by the beautification of the environment.

It features a fashion show and other floral exhibitions, showing off creative endeavors by people in love with beauty of nature and the environment.
