Former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has outline what his party, the National Democratic Congress, needs to put in place in order to win power in 2020.
According to a report by Pulse.com.gh, Rawlings, whiles speaking with Bola Ray, noted that the NDC needs to "the restoration of...integrity".

"We don’t like to hear it but I keep repeating it. We have to go back, seek a moral high ground,” he reportedly told Bola Ray.
It would seems the former head of Ghana was eating back his words.
His comments come days after reports stated that the former president had asserted that current president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would maintain power in 2020.
Rawlings, who is also the chairman of the council of elders of the NDC, was widely criticized by some party foot soldiers for his comments.
Rawlings explained his comments saying that, "I will very much want to see the NPP beaten but do we have what it takes? Do we have the capacity to be able to wrestle power from them?”

Rawlings added that the NDC is not read to confront the things that made the party lose the 2016 General Elections to Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party.
