BBC cameraman who worked on Game of thrones dies on set in Ghana


A British cameraman shooting a mini series in Ghana has reportedly died on set over the weekend.

According to the Associated Press (AP), Mark Milsome whose known to have worked on the cameramen for the popular Game of Thrones TV series was shooting the BBC/Netflix commissioned "The Forgiving Earth."

His agent, Sarah Prince is reported to have disclosed that Milsome was filming a night-time stunt sequence for the thriller.

We are "deeply shocked and saddened" at the death of a "hugely talented and a much-respected colleague", the BBC reportedly said.

Milsome, 54, also worked on TV series including "Sherlock" and films including "Saving Private Ryan" and "Quantum of Solace."

Written by Hugo Blick, the war-crimes thriller is due to be broadcast by the BBC in Britain and Netflix elsewhere.
