1. Spray Bottle
This is a naturalistas best friend. With the spray bottle, you can spray any DIY mixture easily unto your hair. Simply pour in some water and your favourite oil, and you have in your spray bottle a moisturizer or detangler that can help to soften, moisturize or detangle your hair.
2. Afro Comb
The Afro comb is a must have for your natural hair strands. The long and flexible bristles help to detangle natural hair very well. Make sure your hair is slightly damp and then gently comb from the tips and work your way down to the roots.
3. Plastic cap
All you naturalistas know that deep conditioning is an important step in your hair care routine. The use of the plastic cap after the deep conditioner has been applied helps to hold the body heat which in turn allows the deep conditioner to penetrate the hair follicles better.
4. Applicator tip bottle
So, you know how oils are important to nourish and condition your hair but sometimes the application is just messy. The applicator tip bottle helps to reach the scalp directly without a fuss. Simply pour your oil or a mixture of oils into an applicator tip bottle and point the tip unto any area of your scalp or hair.
5. Hair Clips
It is always advisable to work in sections when dealing with natural hair. Whether it’s shampooing, deep conditioning, detangling or combing, working in sections prevents hair from matting up. Divide hair into 4-6 sections depending on the length and thickness of hair and hold in place with hair clips.
