It was launched after the death of Major Mahama to raise money to support the bereaved family.
The godundme was among several "Appeal for funds" initiatives that was launched to raise money for the family of Major Mahama after his death in Denkyira Obuasi.
The family sanctioned Fidelity Bank, United Merchant Bank (UMB), Capital Bank and Mr Kumordzie to raise funds on behalf of the family.
The cheque was presented to Barbara Mahama at a short ceremony at the office of the Chief of Defence Staff.
She was accompanied by her father-in-law Capt (rtd) Dennis Adam Mahama.
